Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All ages are encouraged to come join the festivities!
Is this a free event?
Yes, it's free! However, we deeply value the spirit of your generosity as it exhibits both appreciation and committment to the importance of spreading kindness which is why we have adopted the donation based model. You can donate at the festival when you arrive OR donate HERE through our Fiscal Sponsor Allied Arts Foundation. (Please state in the notes upon payment that it is for THE KIND FEST)
What are my transportation/parking options?
We encourage you to walk, bike, or use Community Transit bus 116 Silver First to Edmonds.
There is available parking near the Willis Tucker Admin Building and additional parking on the far EAST side of the Multi Use Field. You can also find plenty of street and neighborhood parking!
Is there food and alcohol at this event?
There will be 3 Food Vendors and Shaved Ice but NO alcohol.
Can pets come?
Leashed pets are allowed onto the festival grounds per Park and Recreation rules and regulations.
How should I be dressed for this event?
We will have several optional activities that will require movement. If you think you might participate in any of the exercise, 9 am yoga, massages, or other activities then dress comfortably!

What should I bring to the event?
Yoga Mat-9 am Yoga
Refillable Water Bottle
Reusable bag for all your goodies
Chair and Blanket to sit in front of stage
Cash and Card-Kind Fest donations, Raffle entries, Artisan Vendors, and Business Vendors
Will there be water available?
Yes! In fact we have a water sponsor who will be offering free fill ups so BYOWB (bring your own water bottle) and help save the environment from plastic water bottles! There are also water fountains in the kid's playground area.
Are there opportunities to volunteer?
Yes! It takes a community to put on this event so we would gladly accept more help NOW, the week before the event, and/or the day of the event. Please send your inquires to firstname.lastname@example.org or apply HERE.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. This is just to help us prepare for how many people we might expect.
Will there be things for my children to do?
The festival is located directly across the sidewalk from the playground and water splash pad! In addition, the kind fest will have activities, face painting, and live music!
